Originally from the Midwest, Amy moved to San Diego in 2001. A graduate of Valparaiso University, Amy has been a Financial Advisor since 1997. When Amy began taking Pilates in 2006, she fell in love with the method and benefits of the program and knew she wanted to help others achieve their fitness goals. She studied under Stephanie Aubachon with Kore Pilates in La Jolla to become a certified Pilates instructor. It was not until Amy took her first Xtend Barre® class that she discovered her true passion for fitness. She loved the challenge and energy of each class. And more importantly, she was excited by the results as her body became more toned than through any other workout routine she had tried in the past. She is thrilled to present the Xtend Barre® workout to Carlsbad and is eager to help the women of Carlsbad look and feel great!
Amy has had a passion for dance and fitness from a young age. With a background in ballet, hip-hop, and multiple other forms of dance and cheerleading, Amy was thrilled to move to San Diego upon making the San Diego Charger Girls dance team for the 2010-2011 season. Outside of her professional dance career, Amy is an avid runner and loves half-marathon races. She holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo and is a talented graphic designer and illustrator. Once Amy heard about and tried the Xtend Barre workout, she realized that it was the perfect fusion for her enthusiasm for dance and fitness and could not wait to become an instructor. Amy believes in the power of using your own body as resistance to create a lean, toned physique, and adds that Xtend has given her better aesthetic results than any workout she has done in the past. As a mother to a little girl, Amy has a strong passion for pre- and post-natal fitness and loves helping all women reach their fitness goals.

Jeannine has found that the integration of the physical intensity of spinning, the focus and breath of yoga, and the grace and sculpting of Xtend Barre creates the perfect class for her client's healthiest minds and bodies. Additionally, her background in competitive dance and cheerleading has given her a foundation for a deeper understanding of Xtend Barre movement that she is inspired and excited to pass on to her students, helping each and every one achieve his or her ultimate fitness goals. Students coming to Jeannine's classes can expect new and challenging choreography week to week, with a strong emphasis on body alignment and breath.
Hanging up her soccer cleats after playing competitive soccer for over 20 years, Stephanie sought a new fitness challenge. She took one Pilates reformer class in 2004 and was hooked. Stephanie was certified through Peak Pilates all apparatus, and has been teaching since 2005. Her passion for Pilates inspired her to open a studio in 2008, where she worked professional athletes, as well as clients with debilitating injuries. After owning the studio for over 2 years, she decided to move from Michigan out to southern California, where she explored different barre methods, looking to expand her Pilates repertoire. Before you could count down from eight, she was addicted to Xtend because it combined the precision of Pilates, the burn of barre, and captured what all other methods lacked - cardio. Her favorite part of learning to teach Xtend is that she considers herself an athlete, not a dancer. Learning the to teach the elements of rhythm and coordination proved to be a challenge to her, but has enabled her to help even the most uncoordinated clients achieve the grace of a ballerina. Stephanie has a BA in International Business from Alma College and an MBA from Wayne State University and speaks French. In her free time, she likes to shop, club hop, bottle pop, and covets anything that helps her on her pursuit for eternal youth.
Originally from Kentucky, Mandi is a certified Pilates Mat and Xtend Barre Instructor. After graduating from Northern Kentucky University with a BA in Theater, Mandi headed to NYC where she was introduced to and immediately fell in love with Pilates. Pilates was a great addition to an already active lifestyle, providing much needed flexibility, strength, and balance. After relocating to So Cal in early 2010, Mandi added Xtend barre to her exercise routine. One class and she was hooked. Shortly after receiving her instructor certification, she found out that she and her husband were expecting their first child. Teaching and taking classes until 2 weeks before delivery, “I felt amazing! Xtend gave me the energy and strength otherwise absent during pregnancy. Post pregnancy, the benefits have continued to give me the extra energy, strength, and focus a new mom needs! 6 weeks after delivery and those pre-pregnancy jeans are back on! I am so excited to be a part of the Xtend family and bring the most effective, amazing, total body, 55 minute workout to our community”
